Our Fair Oaks optometrists take the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Dr. Ashlynn Dennington
Optometrist
Dr. Dennington received her Bachelor in Vision Science from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. She then attended Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas where she received her Doctorate of Optometry.
She is a member of the Texas State Optical Family of Doctors, American Optometric Association, and Texas Optometric Association. Providing the best medical care and customer service to all her patients is Dr. Denningtons’s biggest goal, and something she strives to do every day. Dr. Dennington is a Texas Native having grown up in Frisco, Texas.
She now lives in San Antonio, Texas with her Fiancé Mike and their dog Gingi. In their spare time they love spending weekends in Oklahoma hunting, fishing and camping. When they aren’t hunting, they love taking trips to Disney World Florida with their friends and family. Her favorite time of the year is from the first day of October until the new year starts.

Dr. Niki Nguyen
Therapeutic Optometrist, Optometric Glaucoma Specialist
Dr. Niki Nguyen is a board-licensed therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Shortly after, she attended the University of Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, TX, and obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree. She is currently an active member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association.

Dr. Nguyen completed her externship rotations all over Texas, where she gained proficiency in diagnosing, managing, and treating various ocular diseases such as dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Nguyen specializes in dry eye management and care, where her ultimate goal is to provide the best care possible for her patients and assist them in their eye care needs.

During Dr. Nguyen’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, exploring local coffee shops or restaurants, enjoying the outdoors with her husband, and cheering on the LSU Tigers!
